Italian American One Voice Coalition thanks businessman and real estate developer Salvatore A. Davino
The Italian American One Voice Coalition wants to thank businessman and real estate developer Salvatore A. Davino for his kind contribution to the efforts of One Voice at the recent Italian American One Voice Coalition membership luncheon last month. Davino graciously and spontaneously donated 50-thousand dollars to One Voice to assist in its continued efforts to fight negative stereotyping of Italian Americans in the media and elsewhere.
“We are so blessed to have patrons like Sal who honor the Italian American culture, his family and all Italian Americans by giving so generously to the cause,” said One Voice President Doctor Manny Alfano. “A donation to our group is so important in order to help us preserve our culture from almost constant attack. It is our hope that other prominent and successful Italian Americans will do the same.”
Mr. Davino is the founder of the Fidelity Land Development and its group of companies. He has more than 50 years experience in acquisition, development, construction and management of real estate projects. Mr. Davino’s highly successful business career also includes interests in restaurants, family entertainment, golf facilities, and banking.
“Sal’s success mirrors the success of so many first and second generation Italian Americans whose parents came to the United States looking for a better life,” said Alfano. “He and millions of other Italian Americans contributed so much to make America when it is today.”
During the recent well attended luncheon at The Chandelier Restaurant in Bloomfield, One Voice members also honored Emmy Award winning actor, writer and producer Tony Lo Bianco and heard from singer and actor Nick Addeo and New Jersey State Assemblyman Ralph Caputo.
