Corrado Manuali Joins Withers Bergman
International law firm Withers Bergman recently announced that Corrado Manuali has joined the firm as head of its Italian desk in the United States. Manuali, who will be based in the firm’s New York office, comes to Withers Bergman from Kranjac Tripodi & Partners LLP.
“Corrado’s experience with U.S. and Italian-based business fits in perfectly with our goal of providing seamless cross-border representation to our clients,” said David Guin, partner and New York office managing director at Withers Bergman. “He’ll be working closely with lawyers in our Italian offices to further cement our long-standing relationships with Italian families and businesses.”
Manuali focuses his practice on general corporate, M&A, commercial real estate and securities law, and has extensive experience advising Italian companies of all sizes operating in the U.S. as well as U.S. companies looking to expand into Italy. He also advises private equity funds with interests both in the U.S. and internationally.
“As the third largest economy and second largest exporter in the Eurozone, Italy remains a significant source of new business for law firms and Withers Bergman in particular,” said Mr. Manuali. “I look forward to bringing my knowledge of Italian business, law and culture to the firm and am certain my clients will benefit from Withers Bergman’s depth of experience in corporate and private client matters.”
Manuali’s clients include the gourmet Italian marketplace Eataly and the Bastianich family. He has previously served as an officer for Italy’s tax enforcement agency.
