Union County Hosts Fifth Annual Columbus Day Flag Raising and Event

The County of Union and UNICO District X (encompassing all of Union County, parts of Middlesex County and Somerset Counties), held its Fifth Annual Columbus Day Event at the Union County Courthouse in Elizabeth with a special card of speakers, including TV and Radio Broadcaster Frank Cipolla.

Cipolla, currently heard on WCBS AM Radio, is also a former News12 and Channel 9 News broadcaster. Cipolla has Elizabeth roots in the ‘80s as a former radio host on the now-defunct Elizabeth radio station, WJDM, 1530 which broadcast for many years throughout Union County.4
